Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Ingredients:
1 full slab of ribs (spareribs or babyback ribs are great)
Molasses to coat the ribs
BBQ Rub to coat ribs
Liquid of choice ie: Apple cider, Dr. Pepper, Root beer, or White wine may be used
Step one: Coat ribs with molasses and then rub liberally with BBQ Blend
Step two: Place ribs in a baking dish uncovered at 450 degrees and allow to carmelize (nice brown color) in the oven.
Step three: Remove from oven and decrease oven temperature to 250 degrees.
Step four: Add liquid of choice to pan no more than halfway up the meat, cover tightly with foil and return to the oven for 2 1/2 hours.
Step five: Remove from the oven and finish up on the grill.
* For wet ribs, add BBQ sauce of choice.
* For dry ribs, simply grill and transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with more BBQ Rub Blend.
