Roast Turkey

Preparation: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rinse turkey inside and out and pat dry with a paper towel. Lightly brush turkey with olive oil then apply Fresh Herb Blend liberally over turkey and inside the turkey cavity.  Lift the skin at the breast and thigh area and place seasoning directly on the meat.

Cooking:  Place turkey breast side down in roasting pan and place in oven at 450 degrees for one hour(be sure the breast has enough olive oil on it to prevent sticking).  After one hour, remove turkey from oven and reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.  Carefully turn the turkey breast side up and place back in oven for remaining time as directed.
When cooking is complete allow turkey to “set-up” (take out of oven and place on counter at room temperature) for 20 minutes before carving.
